Anthony Abruscati is a dedicated partner at SMB Law, bringing extensive experience in civil litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Abruscati honed his skills in the defense of contractors and homeowners at mid-sized firms in the New York City area.

A seasoned trial attorney, Mr. Abruscati has litigated cases to verdict and is proficient in appellate and post-trial practice within New York State Courts. He has successfully briefed and argued appeals in both the First and Second Judicial Departments. His practice is focused on complex matters, including construction defects, product defects, subrogation, and property damage litigation. Additionally, Mr. Abruscati handles insurance coverage disputes, contractual issues, and pre-suit work, with an emphasis on thorough investigation, evidence preservation, and risk transfer strategies.
Before earning his juris doctorate from Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center at Touro College, Mr. Abruscati completed his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Stony Brook University. While pursuing his law degree, he gained invaluable experience working full-time as a paralegal, refining his skills in legal research and case preparation.
